Delete Telegram groups on desktop

The steps are the same for both PC/Windows and Mac. Please note that if you have the Telegram app on your computer, you must first convert the group you want to delete into a supergroup before you can delete it. Make sure your group type is a “Private Group” and not a “Public Group” or “Open Group”, otherwise it will not be deleted.

Follow these steps to delete a group on Windows or your Mac:

2. Select the “Manage Group” option.
