Knowing where your saved snaps are on Snapchat can be helpful when you can’t find them in your phone’s gallery or when you deleted them a long time ago. Snapchat stores all your saved snaps in its gallery, so even if they disappear from your phone, you can always log into your Snapchat account, find them there, and download them again.

In this article, we will discuss the process of finding your saved snaps on Snapchat. As a bonus, we’ll show you how to view saved snapshots of an inpidual chat.
How to View Saved Snaps on Snapchat on an iPhone
Every time you take a photo through Snapchat and save it to your camera roll, it is automatically saved to your Snapchat Memories. Even if you delete the photo from your gallery, it will still be on Snapchat until you delete it from there as well. This is how you can view your saved snapshots on your iPhone.
- Launch Snapchat.

- Tap the photo icon on the left side of the camera button.

Your saved snaps will be organized into four categories: snaps, stories, camera roll, and “my eyes only.” They’ll also be organized by date, so you can go back to the first saved snapshots you’ve taken.
Please note that regular snapshots and stories are not the same. Snapchat stories are like Instagram stories. They are on your profile for 24 hours. When they expire, only you will be able to see them in the Memories folder.
If you want to see saved snaps that you sent to a specific user (or that they sent to you), you need to go to their friendship profile on Snapchat. Follow the steps below to find out how it’s done.
- Open the Snapchat app on your iPhone.

- Tap the message icon in the bottom menu.

- Find the friend you sent snaps to and tap their bitmoji. This will take you to your friendship profile.

- Go to the “Saved to Chat” section in your profile.

- Select the “View all saved” button.

From this moment on you will be able to see all the snapshots that were saved in your chat, whether they are photos or videos. You can open any saved snapshot and save it to your camera roll. You can also remove them from the chat.
How to View Saved Snaps on Snapchat on an Android Device
If you have an Android device, here’s how you can view saved snaps on Snapchat.
- Open Snapchat on your Android.

- Tap the photo icon next to the camera button.

- Return to the home screen and go to the message icon in the bottom menu.

- Go to a specific chat.
- Tap the user’s bitmoji on the left side of their name. This will take you to your friendship profile.

- Go to “Saved in chat.”

- Select “View all saved.”

That’s all about it. The reason you should check inpidual friendship profiles is because you may find snaps saved there that aren’t in your Snapchat Memories. After all, you’ll only find snapshots you took and/or sent to someone in the Memories folder. If you want to see snaps sent by someone else, you can only find them on friendship profiles.
How to View Saved Snaps on Snapchat on PC
It’s also possible to use Snapchat on your PC, but it’s a little more difficult. This is because Snapchat can only be installed on iPhones and Android devices. The only way to do this is with an Android emulator. The most popular one is BlueStacks.
If you manage to install Snapchat on your PC, here’s what you need to do to view saved snaps.
- Open Snapchat.

- Click the photo icon in the menu.

- Go to your saved snapshots.

From this point on, you can download them to your computer and delete them from Snapchat.
How to View Saved Snaps on Snapchat on an iPad
As with a desktop browser, it’s more complicated to install Snapchat on your iPad. However, it can be done. All you need to do is change the download filters in your iPad’s App Store settings. Once you set the filters to “iPhone only,” you’ll be able to download and use Snapchat on your iPad.
Snapchat works as an expanded version of the iPhone app, so the rest of the process is largely the same. Here’s what you need to do to view your saved snapshots.
- Launch the app on your iPad.

- Go to the photo icon at the bottom of the screen.

Here you can browse all your saved snaps and stories. If you want to download them, this is how to do it.
- Open the clasp.

- Tap the three dots in the top right corner.

- Select “Export Snapshot.”

- Swipe the options to the left until you find “Download.”
If you want to see saved snaps sent to you by other Snapchat users, you’ll need to go to your friendship profile and you’ll find them there.
Keep all your snapshots in one place
With its creative filters and fun messaging tools, Snapchat lets you create great memories for you and your friends. Every time you save a snap to your phone’s gallery, it will also automatically save to Snapchat. Additionally, you can see other people’s snaps that you saved to your friendship profiles.
