Fans around the world will be tuning in to watch the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony from Paris, France this Monday.
The awards for the world’s best male and female footballers of the past season will be presented at the star-studded event, along with a selection of other prizes to honour the finest figures in the game over 2023/24.
As has become tradition over recent years, there will be several different guests on stage who will present the different prizes, while the evening as a whole will be hosted by former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and sports presenter Sandy Heribert.
Heribert, a famous figure in France and Belgium, has become more of a global household name since she began compering the awards gala five years ago.

Who is Sandy Heribert?
Sandy Heribert is a French journalist and broadcaster who works primarily for public broadcaster France 2, and sports publication and TV station L’Equipe. She has hosted the Ballon d’Or in 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2024, alongside former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
Heribert, born in northern Paris in November 1983, is the daughter of a French-Belgian father and English mother. Fluent in English and French, she was inspired to pursue a career in journalism after watching the esteemed Martine Laroche-Joubert reporting from the Gulf War.
She began her presenting career with Eurosport and has since become one of the most recognisable figures in French and Belgian sports coverage.
Speaking about her role presenting the Ballon d’Or, she told Le Figaro in 2021: “It’s a very beautiful prize and it is pretty prestigious for me to present it with Didier Drogba.
“We’re only given the name of the winner an hour before we reveal it. The secret is a bit of a magical part of our role: we’re part of the machinery and, at the same time, we’re still spectators.”
