The Pittsburgh Steelers saw a key player suffer an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter of the Week 10 game against the Washington Commanders after running back Najee Harris got banged-up.
The play in question happened with a little over 10 minutes remaining in the game. Harris took a carry on third-and-1 but was stopped short of the sticks. After the play, Harris stayed on the ground for an extended period of time and looked to be clutching his leg.
Harris hopped up after some time on the ground but then fell to the field after that. He then was able to jog off the field under his own power. Here’s the latest update on the Steelers running back.

UPDATE: After the game, Harris said he got his ankle rolled up on and he’ll know better about his situation on Monday.

Based on the fact that Harris was able to stay in the game, he should be fine for next week. We’ll know more as the week progresses.

Harris has no official designation as of this writing, but he was spotted standing on the sideline with his helmet on, so it would appear Harris will get back into the game. Trainers looked to be tending to his foot or ankle.
Jaylen Warren is currently filling in for Harris, but he just had a brutal fumble at the goal line. We’ll update this page when more information becomes available on Harris.
Prior to his exit, Harris saw tough sledding on the ground. He did score a touchdown, but he also had just 51 yards on 17 carries.
