When is NBA 2K25 coming out?
NBA 2K25 will be released worldwide on Friday, September 6, 2024. Early Tip-Off Access The game begins Wednesday, September 4 at 8 a.m. ET (5 a.m. PT).
Fans who purchased the game before its September 6 release will receive early access. Early access is available on all platforms except Nintendo Switch.

Who is on the cover of NBA 2K25?
NBA 2K25 will feature three different cover athletes across all four editions of the game.
Celtics star Jayson Tatum will be featured on the cover of both the “Standard” and “All-Star” editions alongside Aces star A’ja Wilson. Both Tatum and Wilson receive the honor one year after leading their teams to NBA and WNBA titles, respectively.
The NBA 2K25 Hall of Fame Edition features Vince Carter, who is set to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2024. The game’s cover features a photo of the Raptors great’s iconic between-the-legs dunk during the 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
