Novak Djokovic has not had the best of seasons. He lost in the Australian Open semi-finals to eventual winner Jannik Sinner, was forced to withdraw from the French Open quarter-finals due to injury, and then lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final.
He then became the fifth player to win a Golden Slam in singles, winning the gold medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
On Monday, August 26, the second seed will begin the defense of his title against the Romanian Radu Albot.

The first round of matches in the ATP and WTA singles competitions begins on Monday August 26, with the order of play most days starting at 11:00 a.m. EDT in the first, second, third and fourth (last 16) rounds.
