For the third year running, the Leagues Cup crown will be decided in an all-MLS affair, this time with Seattle Sounders locking horns with Inter Miami.

Seattle has been steamrolling its way through the tournament, opening the campaign with a jaw-dropping 7-0 demolition of Cruz Azul, the reigning Concacaf Champions Cup winners.

Their latest statement came in the semifinals, where Pedro de la Vega and Osaze De Rosario found the net to knock off the LA Galaxy 2-0, while keeper Andrew Thomas notched his third clean sheet of the competition.

On the other side, Inter Miami rode the magic of Lionel Messi, who returned from a hamstring knock to score a second-half brace and spark a 3-1 rally past Orlando City in a heated Florida Derby semifinal.

Now the Herons set their sights on deja vu, dreaming of a repeat of their 2023 triumph over Nashville SC, a night remembered for a Messi wonder strike and an epic 11-round shootout that cemented the Argentine legend’s storybook start in MLS.

The Jugo Mobile looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Seattle Sounders vs. Inter Miami predicted lineups, team news

The Sounders punched their ticket to the final with a semifinal win over the Galaxy, though they weren’t at full strength. Jordan Morris sat out with a shoulder injury, and both Joao Paulo and Paul Arriola remain question marks as they work their way back from cruciate ligament tears.

They’ll also be missing Nouhou Tolo, who was shown a straight red card late in Wednesday’s victory.

Even so, Seattle found answers. Pedro De la Vega and Osaze De Rosario both hit the scoresheet, while Andrew Thomas stood tall between the posts, making four saves to lock down the shutout.

Seattle Sounders predicted XI (4-4-2, right to left): Frei (GK) — A. Roldan, Andrade, Ragen, Sousa — Rothrock, Vargas, C. Roldan, De la Vega — De Rosario, Ferreira.

Inter Miami had their own share of bumps and bruises heading into the semifinal. Allen Obando sat out with a hamstring strain, while Mateo Silvetti was forced to the sidelines with a broken toe.

Jordi Alba, however, shook off concerns over a knee problem and went the distance, and Sergio Busquets added another milestone by making his 100th appearance for the Herons in all competitions.

The spotlight, as always, fell on Lionel Messi, who came back from a muscle strain to bag a late brace, with Telasco Segovia chipping in a goal of his own to seal the win.

Inter Miami predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Ustari (GK) — Fray, Lujan, Falcon, Alba — Bright, Busquets — De Paul, Messi, Allende — Suarez.
