The sun may be setting early on summer, but as fall approaches, so do some exciting new streaming releases, such as The Penguin.
Colin Farrell reprises his role as the villain from The Batmanthe 2022 film also starring Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano and Jeffrey Wright. HBO confirmed that Farrell would reprise the role in 2022.
Hailing from DC Studios, the eight-episode limited series is executive produced by The Batman director Matt Reeves, as well as Farrell, Dylan Clark, writer and showrunner Lauren LeFranc, Craig Zobel and Bill Carraro, according to HBO’s Aug. 15 press release.

The first episode of The Penguin will air on HBO on Thursday, September 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, and will also be available to watch on Max. The next seven episodes will air on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT, beginning with the second episode on Sunday, September 29.
