The United States defeated Puerto Rico to take first place in the qualifying round of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Anthony Edwards was the star of the show, with 26 points and 15 shots. Jayson Tatum finished with a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds, while LeBron James put together a complete game of 10 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
Puerto Rico got 18 points from NBA guard Jose Alvarado and a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds from Ismael Romero, but didn’t have enough firepower to keep pace with Team USA’s offense.
