The Las Vegas Raiders will look to bounce back in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns after an embarrassing 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers last Sunday. The team was completely outplayed and outplayed for the entire 60 minutes and fell to 1-2 as a result.
After an impressive performance against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, Gardner Minshew and the passing attack took a step back in Week 3, although Jakobi Meyers still had a solid day with 61 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the other hand, Davante Adams was largely held in check, hauling in four passes for just 40 yards on nine targets.
Heading into Week 4 against the Browns, should Adams and/or Meyers be in your lineup as the Raiders wrap up their two-game home stretch?
Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 4: Davante Adams
Outside of a monster game against the Ravens, Adams has been pretty quiet on the fantasy front. The 31-year-old is also suffering from a hamstring injury and has been a limited participant during Thursday’s practice.
Despite a slow start for his standards and an injury, it would be foolish not to start Davante Adams in your lineup, assuming he plays. The six-time Pro Bowler is one of the best wide receivers in football and is still a true WR1.
Adams will have a tough matchup on Sunday, as Denzel Ward and the Browns secondary are one of the best in the NFL. But Davante is a nightmare for every defense, and if he plays Sunday, he should be in your lineup as a WR1 or WR2.
Verdict: Start them
Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 4: Jakobi Meyers
After a bit of a slow start, Meyers had a fantastic game against the Panthers, making seven catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. The 27-year-old will still be a viable flex option, but with the uncertainty surrounding Davante Adams due to his injury, Meyers could be a low-level WR2 in Week 4.
If Adams plays, Meyers should still be in your lineup as a flex. But if the future Hall of Famer misses Sunday’s contest, Meyers is a great start at flex, or even WR2.
Verdict: Start them
