Ayesha Curry is coming to the big screen, sort of.
Curry stars alongside Lindsay Lohan in “Irish Wish,” a direct-to-Netflix movie set to premiere in March.
This is not the first time Curry has dabbled in acting. In fact, she landed a few roles before marrying her NBA husband, Warriors star Stephen Curry. Curry appeared on Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana” in 2009 and appeared briefly on the network’s “Good Luck Charlie” in 2010.
Since then, Curry has only occasionally played a role as a voice actor. However, she is no stranger to the cameras. Even aside from her prominent presence alongside her husband during their six trips to the NBA Finals, Curry hosted a season of “The Great American Baking Show” and served as executive producer and host of the cooking competition “Family Food Fight.” in 2019.

What is the movie ‘Irish Wish’?
“Irish Wish” is a new film starring Lindsay Lohan, in which Lohan plays Maddie, a book editor.
“Maddie’s dream boy is days away from marrying his best friend when a wish for true love made on an ancient stone in Ireland magically alters his destiny.” Netflix preview from the film it reads.
Curry plays the role of Heather, who is also supposedly Maddie’s best friend, but not the friend who is trying to marry the love of Maddie’s life. Curry recently revealed that her character is the “voice of reason” in the film, a supporting figure to Lohan’s character.
Lohan, meanwhile, has only acted in a small handful of films over the past decade, and this release is her first starring role in a film since 2022. She made a cameo in the “Mean Girls” reboot previously released in 2024.
Production on “Irish Wish” began in September 2022, so the film has been in the works for about 18 months.

Lohan and Curry are the stars of the film, but Ed Speleers is another big name that appears.
Speleers was part of a large cast in the television series “Downton Abbey” and also recently appeared in the fourth season of Netflix’s “You.”
