Tim Tszyu was preparing to face veteran Keith Thurman. After “One Time” withdrew from the fight due to injury, Tszyu must now change his game plan to match the skills of Sebastian Fundora.
The fight between Tszyu and Fundora will be for the former’s WBO super welterweight title and the vacant WBC belt. It will be the main event of Premier Boxing Champions’ first PPV under its new Amazon Prime deal.
Tszyu brutally defeated three former world champions and contenders in 2023. The former WBO interim super welterweight champion defeated former champion Brian Mendoza last time out to reach full-time status. He has a commanding presence in the ring and the Australian looks to bring his ruthlessness to the United States.
Tsyzu, an active and dangerous fighter, is ready to adapt to his current situation and conquer the giant in Fundora.

“There was no hesitation, it was immediate, a 10-second thing,” Tszyu said. “Yes, it pissed me off but the focus changes and the show goes on, simple. You have to be able to face all the participants. He (Fundora) is complicated, he is tall, but whatever, I am confident in victory anyway.”
