The New England Patriots are traveling to South Florida for their second matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in Week 12.
Before the game, New England may elevate up to two players from their practice squad to the active roster for the contest, and on Saturday, they announced that defensive end Keshawn Banks and tight end Jack Westover have been elevated.
Banks, 24, joined New England’s practice squad a month ago after spending time with the Green Bay Packers. He was also elevated for last week’s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams and played special teams.
Westover, 25, also joined the practice squad in October after a stint with the Seattle Seahawks. He played collegiately at Washington. It will be interesting to see if New England goes into the game with all four tight ends active, or if they give one of the group a game off.
The Patriots already ruled out defensive lineman Jaquelin Roy for this game and listed 10 others as questionable, including cornerback Christian Gonzalez, who was a late addition to the injury report on Friday.
