Andrea Swift
Born on January 10, 1958 in Pennsylvania, Andrea Swift’s parents traveled during her youth. She spent time in Singapore before returning to Texas, where she attended the University of Houston.
Swifties know and love Andrea, who often helps her daughter with pre-show fan interactions. She has been by Swift’s side every step of her career, joining her first tours.
In 2015, the singer announced on Tumblr that her mother was diagnosed with cancer. The disease went into remission, but returned in 2019, which she shared in the she rehearsal. Unfortunately, things continued to get worse and in 2020, Andrea Swift was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
On Swift’s album Loverhe wrote a song specifically for his mother’s battle with cancer, titled “Soon You’ll Get Better.”
Swift hasn’t shared any other details about her mother’s illness since then, so her current condition is unclear, but Andrea made public appearances with her daughter during the Eras Tour. That’s also good news for fans, as Andrea is a beloved figure among her daughter’s community.

Acting is in his family’s blood.
His maternal grandmother, Marjorie Finlay, sang in operas and symphony orchestras. Many of her know her from the Swift song. Scott Swift passed on many traits to his daughter, one of them including his love for the Eagles. She grew up outside of Philadelphia. When Swift was born, the family settled a few miles outside the city.
The singer even has lyrics in her song “Gold Rush” that confirm that she does, in fact, cheer up the birds.
