Produced by Western world duo Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the eight-part series follows a group of survivors nearly 200 years after an apocalyptic nuclear disaster.
Ella Purnell plays Lucy, an optimistic Vault denizen, Walton Goggins plays The Ghoul, a ruthless bounty hunter, and Aaron Moten plays Maximus, a member of the militant group The Brotherhood of Steel.
Joel Keller of Jugo Mobile praised the program in his review, writing: “Fall“It does a good job of drawing viewers into its wide world without needing a lot of exposition to explain what’s going on.”
The finale sets up what’s to come and teases a trip to Las Vegas, where two popular vaults from the video game series are located. Is there a second season in the works? This is what we know.
There will be a Fall Season 2?
While the creators of Fall clearly established the show’s plot for a second season, we all know that an automatic renewal isn’t always in the cards. But with audiences on the side of this post-apocalyptic show, its future looks hopeful.
The show is reportedly already in the process of lining things up for a second season, even though Prime Video has yet to order any more episodes. According Variety, Fall has received $25 million in California tax credits to move from New York to California to film its second season.
Additionally, showrunner Geneva Robertson-Dworet and producer Nolan discussed their plans for future seasons in an interview with direct.
“We do not have [a Season 2] “Still, but we hope to get one because we certainly have a lot of things that we couldn’t fit into eight hours in Season 1 that we really want to do,” Robertson-Dworet said. “I think that was the hardest part of adapting all of this was the fact that there are endless treasures in 25 years of Fall games and you want to bring everything to the screen, but you can’t because you can’t do justice to everything, right?”
Nolan added: “We talked a little bit. I think you should always have a game plan if you’re lucky enough to get a second season. I think, for the most part, we put our energy into making sure you have a fantastic season to tell. And if you’re so lucky, with Geneva [Robertson-Dworet]and graham [Wagner]We, the showrunners, have talked from the beginning about where we could go with this; I just hope people enjoy it, that we have a chance.”
