season 2 of the max. crime drama Tokyo Vice President started in February and just aired its tenth and final episode on Thursday (April 4).
The series stars Ansel Elgort as Jake Adelstein, the real-life American journalist whose book, titled Tokyo Vice: an American reporter on the police in Japan – “loosely inspired” the show, according to Max’s synopsis.
Elgort stars alongside Ken Watanabe’s Hiroto Katagiri, a police detective with whom he joins forces throughout the series. The cast also features the talents of Rinko Kikuchi, Rachel Keller, Show Kasamatsu, Ayumi Ito, Miki Maya and Yosuke Kubozuka.

A third season of the show has not yet been confirmed. However, in an interview with The coat, series creator JT Rogers noted that he has begun planning a possible third installment, telling the outlet, “We’ll see if we can pull it off.” So not all hope is lost.
