Much to the chagrin of every teenager, Snapchat is becoming increasingly popular with adults. Of course, an app designed to show the most personal aspects of your life could get adults in trouble with, for example, bosses, co-workers, ex-boyfriends, and more. Your Snapchat story is a repository of snaps that you want people to be able to see whenever they want. All Snaps you send in “My Story” last 24 hours before disappearing, and you can edit who can see your snapchat story. Follow these steps from the Snapchat camera.
- touch your “profile” icon in the upper left corner. If you use “Bitmoji”, it will look like your bitmoji.

You can customize who can and can’t see your story from your “Friends” list. If you select this option, tap the names of the friends you DO NOT want to see your Snapchat story.
How to hide all snapshots
You don’t need to hide all your snapshots. When you send a Snap the traditional way, you can select people in your contact list. This list includes friends and some followers. Followers who are not friends and have set their contact privacy to “friends only” will not appear in this list.
How to hide someone else’s snapshots
Maybe you’re here because you’re tired of seeing someone else’s constant updates. You don’t want to stop following them because you like the occasional peek into their story. What do you do for a living? If they are not your friends on the app (in other words, they are not following you), you can easily avoid being “captured” without unfollowing them.

- Scroll down and choose “Contact me” in “PRIVACY CONTROL”.
- Choose “Friends” either “Friends and contacts.” In this case there is no way to identify specific users.
Let’s say you don’t want to do this. You have many followers that you do not follow and you enjoy receiving the occasional photo from them. How can you prevent this user from “robbing” you? The answer is simple. You block them.
- touch your “Profile” icon at the top left corner. If you use Bitmoji, it will look like your bitmoji.
- Select “Add friends.”
- Search his name on Snapchat.
- Touch your “profile” icon.
- Play the “horizontal ellipsis” (three horizontal dots) at the top right of the screen.
- Select “Manage friendship.”
- Choose“Block.”
