As the 2024 season begins to sink into the sand, Major League Soccer hopes to attract casual fans to the arena for the long campaign ahead.

With that in mind, Apple TV has scheduled all Week 4 games on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 as free on the MLS Season Pass.

Each of the 13 matches across the two-day weekend will be accessible for all fans to watch, regardless of whether they have an active MLS Season Pass subscription. On most weekends, only up to six matches can be accessed for free, but this weekend has been reserved as a special event.

Eastern Conference leaders Inter Miami are on tour in the nation’s capital, although they will be without injured Lionel Messi against undefeated DC United. LA Galaxy and St Louis City, both undefeated to start the year, meet in California, while Minnesota United, an early success story, hosts defending West champion LAFC at Allianz Field.

Finally, the Seattle Sounders play an afternoon matinee at home against the Colorado Rapids in a game that will not only stream free on Apple TV but will also be nationally televised on Fox. In Sunday’s nationally televised game, Atlanta United will face Orlando City SC on FS1 in the evening.

MESSI INJURED: Lionel Messi should be given more rest by Inter Miami coach Tata Martino

How much does the Apple TV MLS Season Pass cost?

Watching MLS games on Apple TV does not require a subscription to Apple TV+. MLS Season Pass and Apple TV+ subscriptions are two separate services.

With the 2024 MLS season underway, Apple TV offers monthly and full-season subscription options for viewers who want to tailor their experience to their needs.

Full season AppleTV+
subscriber discount
Monthly $14.99/month $12.99/month
Annual $99/year $79/year

Fans who are not Apple TV+ subscribers

Fans without an Apple TV+ subscription can subscribe to the MLS Season Pass for $99, which provides access to games throughout the 2024 season.

The monthly rate of $14.99/month is also still available, allowing fans to cancel their subscription at any time.

Fans who are Apple TV+ subscribers

There’s a slight discount for Apple TV+ subscribers, who already pay $9.99 a month for AppleTV+ programming, including Ted Lasso, the Messi World Cup: Rise of a Legend documentary, and more.

Existing Apple TV+ subscribers can pay an additional $12.99 per month for the MLS Season Pass, or $79 for the entire season.

Free MLS matches

For each game week, Apple TV will have games available for free, which will not require a subscription to stream. The teams involved in those free games will alternate throughout the season.

Stream MLS games on any device or platform

To watch Apple TV no need to buy the Apple TV decoder. All you need to do is search for the Apple TV app, which is available on most streaming devices including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, smart TVs, game consoles, and on the web at tv.apple.com .
