As National Geographic Explorer General (as well as a multi-Academy Award-winning writer and director), James Cameron turns his attention to “Octopus Secrets,” which premieres Sunday, April 21, just in time for Christmas Day. Earth, Nat Geo and airs the next day on Hulu and Disney+ in the US.

Cameron studied marine biologist in the early 1970s before becoming a science fiction writer and Hollywood star. “I’ve always held the octopus in very high regard,” he recently told a newspaper.
“I always imagined that when that flying saucer lands on the White House lawn and comes down the ramp, something that looks like an octopus will come out, because there are certainly more water worlds in the universe and worlds that are under ice and have liquid oceans than worlds. like us who have a balance between land and ocean.”

The three episodes of “Secrets of the Octopus” will air consecutively on the National Geographic Channel at 8 pm Eastern/Pacific on Sunday April 21. For those without cable, don’t worry, you can get the Nat Geo channel through the cord-cutting options Sling TV and FuboTV.
