Boxing seeks to take advantage of the crowd that arrives in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl with a fight starring Teófimo López. López defends the WBO and The Ring super lightweight titles against Jamaine Ortiz on February 8. The fight in “Sin City” is broadcast on ESPN+ in the United States.

Lopez, the 2015 Golden Gloves gold medalist, turned professional in 2016. He beat Richard Commey in 2019 for the IBF lightweight title and Vasiliy Lomachenko in 2020 for the WBA, WBO and WBA belts.
