Tom Brady held the position of “greatest of all time” without a doubt several years ago. But now that Patrick Mahomes is making his fourth Super Bowl appearance, the debate has been reignited. And Brady’s friends seem to be weighing in on his position.
Brady was visiting animals in Brisbane, Australia, in a video shared to his social media accounts on Monday. She saw kangaroos, birds and lastly some goats.
“Coming soon to the Mahomes exhibit,” one of his friends said in the video.

Brady worked hard to get to the point where he was considered the undisputed GOAT. He battled rival Peyton Manning for years over who was the best quarterback of his generation and toppled Joe Montana’s record for most Super Bowl rings. With almost all the passing records and Super Bowl rings, it seemed that Brady could rest at the end of his career as the undisputed best quarterback in NFL history.
Just seven years into his career, Mahomes has already put Brady in a position to defend that claim. Mahomes will play in his fourth Super Bowl with the possibility of adding a third ring. He already has two MVPs on his impressive resume and is off to a much better statistical start to his career than Brady.
While Kansas City’s AFC championship win over the Ravens might have reignited the debate, there’s no doubt that Mahomes still has a ways to go until he can truly surpass Brady’s legacy. But that won’t stop others, including Brady’s friends, from addressing the issue.
