The “Who Viewed Your Profile” feature on LinkedIn can be a useful tool, allowing you to see a list of people who visited your profile in the last 90 days. This feature, available for Basic and Premium LinkedIn accounts, could help you make some useful connections. However, if you have a Premium account, you’ll get a more detailed look at your audience.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to see who viewed your LinkedIn profile on different devices. We’ll also address some frequently asked questions about this LinkedIn feature.
How to see who viewed your LinkedIn profile from a PC
The Who Viewed Your LinkedIn Profile feature is technically available on Basic and Premium LinkedIn accounts. However, there are a couple of differences.
When it comes to the basic, free LinkedIn account, you can see who viewed your profile only if you allow other LinkedIn members to see your account when you view their profile. This is done by adjusting the private and semi-private modes that you can set when you go to Profile display options. In other words, if you use private mode on LinkedIn, you won’t be able to use the Who Viewed Your Profile feature.
However, if you have a LinkedIn Premium account, you will be able to use this feature even if you are in private mode.
To set your profile display options to show your name and title when you visit other profiles on LinkedIn, follow the steps below:
- Visit LinkedIn in your browser.

- Sign in if you haven’t already.

- Click on your profile photo in the upper right corner of your screen.

- Select Settings and privacy in the dropdown menu.

- Gonna Visibility in the left sidebar of the new page.

- Proceed to Visibility of your profile and network just below the Visibility eyelash.

- Next to Profile display optionsclick on Change.

- Choose Your name and owner.

Changes to your account will be saved automatically. Now that you’ve allowed others to see your name when you view their profile, you’ll also be able to see who viewed your profile.
Here’s how to do it on a PC:
- Open LinkedIn in your browser and log in to your account.

- Click on Me below your profile photo in the top right corner of your screen.

- Select the View profile button in the dropdown menu.

- Go to the Who viewed your profile option below your profile photo on the left side.

You can also access this option directly from your control panel. It will be in the left sidebar, below your profile photo and your name.
Even if you haven’t set the profile view option to show your name, you’ll be able to see the number of people who visited your profile in the last seven days. When you go to the Who Viewed Your Profile page, LinkedIn will ask you to turn off private mode.
As mentioned above, if you have a Premium account, you will have a lot more information. You’ll see trends and insights from your viewers weekly. The graph will also show you the increase or decrease, in percentages, in the number of viewers compared to last week.
How to See Who Viewed Your LinkedIn Profile from the iPhone App
You can also see who viewed your profile directly in the LinkedIn app. This is how you would do it on an iPhone:
- Open the LinkedIn app on your iPhone.

- Sign in if you haven’t already.

- Tap your profile photo in the top left corner of the app.

- Proceed to Who viewed your profile feature on the menu.

That’s all about it. You can also find this feature in your LinkedIn profile, directly below your profile photo and basic information.
Please note that if your profile has not had a single view in the last 90 days, the Who Viewed Your Profile option will not be there.

Additional FAQs
Is it possible to see who viewed my profile in private mode?
Whether or not you can see who viewed your profile while you are in private mode depends on the type of profile you have. If you have a basic LinkedIn profile, you won’t be able to see who viewed your profile while you’re in private or semi-private mode. On the other hand, this is possible for Premium users.
If you are a Premium Viewer in private mode, when you visit someone’s LinkedIn profile, they will receive a notification that an anonymous LinkedIn member visited their profile. However, if you are in semi-private mode, people whose profiles you have visited will be able to see your job title or the name of the company associated with your account.
Why can’t I see everyone who viewed my profile?
Having a LinkedIn Premium account allows you to see who viewed your profile, even if you are in private mode. However, if the person who viewed your profile is also in private mode, they will not be able to see your information. This is simply how LinkedIn protects the privacy of those who want to browse privately.
