The new chapter picks up where Chapter 159 left off, with Aqua accusing Hikaru of being a liar. This is an important moment in the story as it not only reveals that the older man is the true villain of Oshi no Ko, but also leaves Aqua at a crossroads.
As Nino is apprehended by Akane and others after attempting to stab Ruby, Hikaru reveals how he manipulated Nino and Ryosuke into killing Ai. He told them about his relationship, including Ai carrying his children, over the years, knowing it would fuel their obsession.
He eventually manipulates Ryosuke into killing Ai and then himself. The man even tricks Nino into attacking Ruby by telling her to go to the police, which eventually leads to her being framed.

With this masterstroke, he has dismissed his accomplices while keeping his hands clean and presenting himself as a redeemed man in front of the Hoshino twins. It’s clever and evil and leaves no way to prosecute him.
This is why Aqua decides to take matters into his own hands. He long sought to kill Hikaru, before finally giving up when he learned of Ai’s true feelings for the man and thought that Hikaru had redeemed himself.
Thinking his quest for revenge is over, he considers quitting show business and studying to become a doctor. But this revelation makes it clear that he—and more importantly, Ruby—will never be free of the past until Hikaru is gone forever.
Oshi no Ko Chapter 160 shows Aqua with a knife, seemingly ready to kill his father. We don’t know if he will succeed, but his determination alone makes this the darkest moment of the young man’s life.
